Seesaw maintenance requires a multi-faceted approach.
Regular Inspection Inspect key parts of the seesaw weekly, such as whether the supports are stable and free from looseness, deformation, or cracks; whether the bolts and nuts at the connecting parts are tightened; and whether the seesaw surface is damaged or cracked.
Cleaning and Maintenance Wipe the seesaw surface monthly with a clean, damp cloth to remove dust and stains. For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent, but rinse thoroughly with water and dry immediately afterward to prevent rust and corrosion.
Lubrication of Parts Apply lubricating oil to moving parts, such as pivots, quarterly to ensure smooth rotation and reduce wear and noise.
Rust Prevention Perform rust prevention treatment on metal parts annually. If rust is found, sand it off immediately and then apply rust-preventive paint.
Site Maintenance Keep the area around the seesaw clean, removing debris and sharp objects to prevent damage to the seesaw.
